Jim Lindquist Administrative Leadership Scholarship

Jim Lindquist Administrative Leadership Scholarship
For Professional Development
Alpha Rho Chapter, Epsilon Sigma Phi
Due December 10 to the Endowment Fund Chair

Jim Lindquist has been an active member of Alpha Rho Chapter Epsilon Sigma Phi since 1979. His passion for professional development led him to endow this scholarship fund to encourage others to seek learning opportunities. This scholarship was established honoring his parents, Lawrence and Gladys, and wife Mary, who are deceased.

The annual available earnings from this fund will be used at the discretion of the Extension Endowment Fund Board of Trustees for professional development for extension professionals. Earnings will be used for scholarships by Alpha Rho Chapter members to attend any professional development experience, with preference to the National Epsilon Sigma Phi Conference or administrative leadership professional development that is regional or national in scope. In all other respects, these funds will be used without restriction to race, gender, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation or disability.

Scholarship applications may be a maximum of two pages and must have advance approval of the department head/area director.

In lieu of signatures, electronically submit the completed application to the endowment fund chair and to the department head/area director by December 10. The department head/area director will notify the Extension Endowment Fund chair by e-mail regarding the approval status. Responsibility for the chair getting this notification by the deadline lies with the applicant.
