K-State Research and Extension is an equal opportunity provider and employer.

Program development is a deliberate, rational, continuing sequence of planned activities through which the clientele gain knowledge, acquire skills, make decisions, change behavior… all towards improving the social, economic, civic, or environmental situation in which they live.

Program Development committees meet to plan the local extension program.  Plans are submitted to the board for review and approval.
