Determine Omega-3 Fat Levels

Food Processor nutrient analysis software includes omega-3 in its nutrient database. More information about this nutrition software can be found at http://www.esha.com.

KIM (Keep It Managed) is another software program that provides omega-3 information. Omega-6 content is also included. KIM can be downloaded from http://efaeducation.org/omega_foods_apps/omega-3-6-apps/.

The USDA Food Composition Database, found at https://fdc.nal.usda.gov/, will provide information on omega-3 fat content of foods. You may also put the USDA Database on your PDA.
