Community Gardens

Kansas community gardens are places where healthy food, healthy families, and strong communities grow together. Each community garden is unique and will have different goals depending on the neighborhood and participants. The only time there is a "right" way to have a community garden is when it reflects the needs and character of the community. If you are looking to start or expand a community garden, we encourage you to find your local extension office and ask them for assistance or local resources. They may also be able to help you find existing community gardens in your area.
